Just because I can turn on my computer or drive a car does not mean I understand how it works. If Buddha were to appear today he would be clueless as to how to operate a Palm pilot or a spreadsheet program. That does not make me more intelligent or better able to understand the world than Buddha.

Enlightenment is when someone has fully reintegrated all seven rays into their being, fully understanding the forces behind them. (The psychological and elemental qualities of the planets are referred to in the section on the Chakras, as Chakras are simply the planetary forces in our Astral/mental body) But since we are not yet complete, we express their energies through our limitation.

A person with a strong Sun will not need to dominate others as a way to express its strength. A strong Sun will have the confidence to empower others, realizing that we are all one consciousness. The Sun is the only light in the chart. The other planets merely reflect the Sun’s Light. 

Jupiter is also not a rebel by any means. His high aims and ethics can be too orthodox at times and actually be a barrier to the inquiry necessary for any meaningful spiritual growth. 

  Rahu does this so that we will learn the lessons that he forces us to learn. He shows the karmic patterns in which we are stuck. But Rahu is also a very powerful creative force. Many artists and unusual people have a powerful Rahu. A strong Rahu can make a person a king. 

They had an understanding of occult knowledge and human awakening that culturally we do not possess en masse today. Astrology is an example of this.

The seven rays of light indicate the planets and their forces. All seven colors fully shone and integrated comprise the original, single ray of light. Yet we struggle with even the individual rays in their full expression.

It is the unmistakable light of truth that we are all seeking. Just as we cannot look directly at the Sun with our physical eyes, we are not able to find the truth in the outside world. We must look inside where the truth shines with the strength of a million Suns.

Whatever is influencing him will determine how he uses his skills and how he will behave. When aligned with Mars for instance he can be turned into a liar and a cheat. In such a situation he can be the smooth talking used car salesman, one who will rip you off and not feel too bad afterwards. Not because he is such a terrible guy, per se, but due to an underdeveloped, childish view of the world that doesn’t think before it acts. 

Wherever he is and whatever planets he aspects will give little fulfillment, because Ketu is motivated by absolute perfection. He is trying to perfect things so that he may be free of them and ultimately free of the world. Whereas Rahu indicates those traits we must develop in this life time, Ketu indicates the ones we have just recently developed.
