Baton Rouge astrologer
As an occult Science, Astrology reigns
supreme. However, given that it is based on distant objects rather than our hand, (palmistry) colorful cards
(Tarot) or numbers, (numerology) its effects are harder to cognize.
All human suffering is a result of the inability to express the full energy of the Planets.
The Moon represents the Mother. The higher Moon
reflects the spirit of joy and sharing that comes with having peace of mind; the lower Moon reflects the withdrawal
and fear we experience when faced with losing that peace. The Sun and Moon represent the archetypical male /
female.
A
default acceptance of the family’s orthodox view can inhibit the spiritual journey. We must align our sense of duty
and virtue, with divine purposes to elevate the soul’s expression and those around them, and not to just doing good
things to gain the approval of others.
As a disembodied head, Rahu represents
our desire nature, he is our material desires, but on a subconscious level. He shows the obsessions and the
desiring that distorts our perceptions and eclipses our peace of mind. (the Moon) He is the demon tempting us
through worldly desires. The power of these unfulfilled desires are the main karmic forces through which we have
incarnated in this lifetime.
That is why we make the same mistakes over and over again. An Astrologer can
identify the samsaras that drag us deeper into Tamas (darkness) and recommend those that will keep us focused on
Sattwa. (knowledge)
We incarnate when the planets arrange in accordance to our karmic lessons.
When
we are angry, our mind is closed and the darkness of anger overtakes us. Mars is the capacity and desire of energy
to transform itself. When his energy is directed toward higher purposes, he has the energy to liberate of our soul,
when directed toward lower purposes he can becomes the very energy we are struggling against.
He indicates how we organize and handle information. In his lower form he organizes sensory data. In his highest
form he is able to discern truth from falsity, what is real and what is illusion. An important thing to remember
about Mercury is that he is very impressionable, the most skilled and mutable of all planets.
Ketu wants to be free of the world and its desires. He
creates discontent, doubting, escapism and too narrow of a focus on all he touches. He is planet of sharp criticism
and explosive frustration and temper. He acts like Mars in this way.

recently been selected to teach most of the
AstroVed University of Vedic Sciences
Certification Program - a 12 month program
initiated by enlightened Master Dattatreya
Siva Baba. I developed the "Universal
Astrology" System. It approaches astrology
from a holistic perspective. The Divine
universe itself is more important in
"Universal Astrology" than the man made
systems used to try to explain it.
